Dance Fitness

Dance Fitness is group exercise class that incorporates some or many forms of dance. It's an aerobic workout, divided into different tracks that provide peaks and troughs of intensity. The overall intensity of a class varies depending on the style.

Rise & Energise

Rise and Energise aims to set you up for the day. We will incorporate functional movements and cardio to achieve the “wake up” that will get you simulated for the day (maybe to the annoyance of your work colleagues). In the class you will have a mix of compound and isolated movements with the addition of some cardio based motions to ramp up your heart rate. By combining these elements you will achieve an increase in strength and fitness levels and have that “feel good factor” before you have even started your day. All exercises will have regressions and progressions so it is suitable for all levels. Each month there will be a challenge in the class that will be repeated at a later date to show how you have progressed.

Hatha

Often referred to as simply 'Yoga', Hatha yoga is the fundamental system of yoga that focuses on the pairing of poses or “asanas” with breathing techniques or “pranayama.” Directly translated to “willful” or “forceful” in Sanskrit.

Hatha yoga uses the practice of the poses to rinse out the body and build the physical strength and endurance required to spend long periods of time in meditation. Once the Hatha yoga practice is complete, the ideal mind body harmony has been created to facilitate deep, relaxing meditation. 

These classes veer away from the rigorous breath-to-movement flows more commonly found in Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga, and focus on flowing the breath in static postures to be with them longer. 

Hatha yogis can expect an accommodating practice full of static postures, mindful breath work and a manageable pace. This allows for a greater focus on alignment and mindful breathing, making the practice accessible to yogis of all levels, especially beginners.

Our team marries the science of targeted workouts with the art of ongoing personal health coaching. We coach you to implement lifestyle and nutritional changes, improve your motivation and self belief, whilst having fun, and being part of a welcoming community of like minded local people. 

The Energise Programme takes place in our bespoke purpose built gym. We have some great equipment and a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you are amongst friends every step of the way.

Our dedicated team of instructors are highly experienced and passionate about your health and wellbeing.

Move to Energise

This class is designed to improve your current overall health and fitness and up level your vitality a little more. If you want to feel energised to move, become stronger and upgrade the integrity of your body in a new way, this class is optimal for you. You will work on improving your functional movement patterns to allow you to be in shape and feel in charge of your body at any time. The focus will be placed on strengthening already developed muscle chains and use them in full integrity. Balancing out (primary) front, back, side and spiral kinetic chains in order to access your full potential and feel inspired of your body in a new way.
