These classes follow the format of a transitional Pilates class, with increased tailoring to those recovering from injuries, aches and pains. The teacher is specially trained and on hand to provide individualised adjustments for your specific body, history and ability level.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga combines breath with movement to create a flowing sequence. Caitlyn’s classes focus on creative transitioning between poses, strength building, and having fun. She also brings in an element of self-reflection and offers you the space to sit with yourself before you begin to flow together.

Shibashi Qigong is often referred to as ‘movement meditation' and is a lovely way to describe the style of Tai Chi Qigong we practice as we connect our breath to our movement. Qigong calms, yet stimulates and revitalises; relaxes, yet re-balances and strengthens – it encompasses the yin and yang of all things.
​A new way of working with your body, which calms the mind and the breath and which really can be the perfect tonic to this busy world in which we live. When we listen to our body, we can create the space for it to heal - inside and out.
For all ages and all abilities – everyone is welcome!

Yin Yoga is a stilling practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses. An antidote to urban life, Yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). Poses are held for long periods, allowing the student to relax as they express patience and quiet. Staying in the poses for this extended time intensifies and deepens the stretch, which is supported by props to prevent overstretching, and creates a feeling of spaciousness in the body. Yin Yoga also helps you increase mobility and flexibility, as well as work deeply into the connective tissues of the body.

Yoga can benefit everyone – all ages, regardless of fitness levels and flexibility. In Jan’s classes, everyone works to their own level and modifications can be given to suit individual uniqueness. She has over 20 years’ experience of yoga teaching and is committed to lifelong learning so continually updates her training. Her keen interest in anatomy, neuroscience and movement patterns which inform how we can move more economically and with awareness.

Ashtanga Yoga

The word Ashtanga translates as 'eight limbs' and describes eight aspects of a traditional yoga practice and lifestyle. The physical practice, stemming from Mysore in India, follows as a set sequence of postures, allowing the practitioner to become familiar with it and build a confident, regular practice.
This class is not aimed at complete beginners, but we will offer modifications for all postures as required, so if you've done some yoga before then please come as you are and enjoy!

10.15am - movers age 3 & 4 years

All ballet classes are 35min and tappers are 15mins. Parents participate in classes until their child attends school (age 4)
